Are you struggling to cope with daily stress?

Stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous.

It’s your body’s reaction to a challenge or demand.

In short bursts, stress can be positive, such as when it helps you avoid danger or meet a deadline. But when stress is continuous or lasts for a long time, it may harm your health.

How Stress Affects Your Health

Unlike other factors that affect your health, such as viruses, bacteria, parasites, and toxic substances, stress is difficult to diagnose because each person responds differently to an
external stimulus.

What’s even worse is that chronic stress has an adaptive effect where we learn to ignore the minor discomfort and eventually accept it as the norm.

Our body adjusts until it depletes essential nutrients and consequently fails to make proper hormones and enzymes, which leads to health problems.

Chronic stress can increase an individual’s risk for psychiatric or physical disorders and may cause the following adverse effects on your health:

  • High blood pressure (and subsequently heart disease)
  • Damage to muscle tissue
  • Inhibition of growth
  • Suppression of the immune system
  • Rapid aging
  • Mental health problems

These, in turn, can lead to the following conditions:

  • Heart disease
  • Asthma
  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Gastrointestinal problems
  • Alzheimer’s disease

What You Can Do to Combat Stress

Instead of letting our body adapt to constant stress and learning to live with it, we should take measures to ensure that our body and mind can counter its effects.

1. Eating a Sensible Diet

Try to avoid processed foods that can cause your blood sugar to spike and crash because this can lead to anxiety. On the other hand, healthy fats such as avocados, eggs, and walnuts have an opposite effect, creating a favorable hormone signaling in the brain, which supports satiety, mood regulation, and sleep and energy balance.

2. Being One With Nature

Spending too much time indoors can make you more susceptible to stress. After all, most of the common stressors, including work, house chores, monthly bills, news, and more, are close by whether you’re in the office or at home.

Exercising helps, but it would be much better if you could spend some time away from these stressors by occasionally leaving your phone behind, going outside, and getting some fresh air to clear your mind.

3. Supplementation

There are several nutrients that have been found to be beneficial in reducing the effects of stress on your body. Here are some of them:

Here are some of them:

  • L-Theanine – an amino acid derivative often formulated from L-glutamine, L-theanine may aid in decreasing stress response as well as cognitive impairments in stressful situations.
  • Ashwagandha – an evergreen shrub widely distributed in the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern regions, ashwagandha may aid in decreasing the burden of stress and improve self-assessed quality of life.
  • L-Tyrosine – this amino acid produces important brain chemicals that help nerve cells communicate and may even regulate mood. L-tyrosine may also help prevent a decline in cognitive function in response to physical stress.

Stress Relief Complex

If you can’t get enough of these nutrients from your diet, you can try supplementing with products such as our Stress Relief Complex, which contains all of these in a non-drowsy formula you can safely take every day.

Stress Relief Complex was tested in a preliminary 7-day, double-blind, placebo-controlled
employee-use test.

There were 29 participants in the study. In each of the following four key categories, people taking Stress Relief Complex felt more benefits than those who consumed a placebo.

“We all have stress in our lives, but sometimes that stress can overwhelm us, especially as moms. I take 1 tablet each morning and usually am good for the day. In high stress times, you can always take more. Also, my teenager has started taking it as needed. I can tell a difference in 30 minutes. You won’t regret ordering this!”

– Catherine S.

“I have been using this product for 4+ years and it has done wonders for me! I am a busy mom of 4 and have a lot on my plate. Stress Relief Complex is something I use daily, sometimes multiple times a day and I know that I can always count on it to work fast without making me tired or having any other side-effects.”
