One of the top New Year’s resolutions is often a commitment to losing weight. Unfortunately, most diet programs are either unsafe or will put you on a never-ending YOYO cycle.

What is the YO-YO?
At the beginning of your diet, the scale seems to be going in the right direction – you’re losing weight!

What you don’t realize is that you’re not only losing body fat, but you’re also losing muscle.

Why worry about muscle loss?

You don’t want to lose muscle because it slows down your metabolism, making it harder to continue losing weight since you’re not burning as many calories. This is why most dieters regain all of the weight they lost within one year.

Weight loss studies show that most diet programs lead to a muscle loss of about 25% of total weight loss. Muscle loss leads to a lower resting metabolic rate resulting in fat gain.

That is the dreaded YO-YO effect you want to avoid.

Unlike most diet programs where you lose both muscle and fat, the program we recommend was clinically proven to help you lose weight and retain lean muscle.

In 2017, Dr Wayne Westcott, a leading nutrition researcher from Quincy College did clinical studies of individuals who were using our program. And the weight loss results are remarkable – 14 lbs of fat lost, 4 lbs of muscle gained, and an impressive 5.75% body fat loss!

In this short video, Dr Westcott discusses weight loss successes in his research.

In our upcoming wellness webcast, Leaner for Life 2024, Dr. Bruce Daggy, a distinguished expert in the field and Chief Science Officer for a leading natural nutrition company from 2013 to 2018, will uncover the secrets to breaking the YO-YO cycle.
